The purpose of data processing
General purpose of processing.
We use your data exclusively to provide our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the order placed. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share your data with us and we use it to contact you at a later date, except at your request, we will ask for your explicit permission to do so. Your data will not be shared with third parties except to fulfil accounting and administrative obligations. All such third parties are bound by an obligation of confidentiality by agreement between them and us or by oath or legal obligation.
Automatically collected data
Information collected automatically on our website is processed to further improve our services. This information (e.g. IP address, browser and operating system) is not personal data.
Cooperation with the tax authorities and crime prevention
If necessary, Voldt may be required by law to share your data in connection with government tax or crime prevention initiatives. In this case, we are obliged to share your data, but we will object within the scope of the possibilities offered by law.
Storage periods
We store your data for as long as you are our customer. This means that we will keep your customer profile until you inform us that you no longer wish to use our services. If you inform us of this, we will also interpret this as a request to be forgotten. However, according to applicable administrative obligations, we have to keep invoices containing your (personal) data, so we will keep this data for the duration of the applicable term. However, employees will no longer have access to your customer profile and documents that we have prepared according to your instructions.
Your rights
Under applicable Dutch and European laws, you, as a data subject, have certain rights in relation to personal data processed by us or on our behalf. Below we explain which rights apply and how you can exercise them. To avoid misuse, we generally only send copies and printouts of your data to your already known e-mail address. If you wish to receive the data, e.g. via another e-mail address or by post, we will ask you to identify yourself. We keep records of completed requests; if a request is forgotten, we handle anonymised data. You will receive all copies and printouts of the data in the machine-readable format we use in our systems. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority at any time if you suspect that we are using your personal data incorrectly.
Right of access
You always have the right of access to the data we process (or have processed) about you or which can be traced back to you. You can request this from our data protection contact person. You always have the right to have information that we process (or have processed) about you or that can be traced back to you corrected. You can request this from our data protection contact person. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send a confirmation of the correction of your data to your registered e-mail address.

If your request is granted, we will send copies or printouts of all information about your person that we have processed or that has been processed on our behalf by other data controllers or third parties to the e-mail address that we have registered. It is likely that in this case we will no longer be able to provide services, as it is no longer possible to guarantee a secure connection of the data files.
Right of protest and other rights
If applicable, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by Voldt or on behalf of Voldt. If you object, we will immediately stop data processing pending processing of your objection. If your objection is justified, we will make copies and/or printouts of the data we process (or have processed) available to you and then permanently stop processing. You also have the right not to be subject to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in such a way that this right applies. If you believe this to be the case, please contact our data protection contact person.
